Nolan Hanson is a USA Boxing Certified boxer and coach based in New York City.

He started boxing at the New Bed Stuy Boxing Center, a community-run boxing gym in Brooklyn founded by the legendary boxing trainer George Washington who trained numerous amateur and professional world champions. There, Nolan was trained by two of George’s former students; Charles Trammell and Nate Boyd. More recently, Nolan studied soviet style boxing under Talap Mamyrkanov, whose expertise have greatly influenced his own approach.

Nolan’s educational and personal background has informs his approach to his career as a trainer; he sees boxing as an incredible field of study which can be used to create opportunities for self-coalition-building, mentorship, and education.

He trains fighters at the world famous Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, New York.
